Everlasting Post: Create an Everlasting Post

Introduction

Everlasting Post is a way for people to celebrate and remember the lives of their loved ones. This desire to keep a loved one’s memory alive after their death is fundamental and important to all of us. The idea of Everlasting Post has been developed accordingly.

A person’s Everlasting Post consists of a Home Page, together with an Obituary and a Memorial Book. There is room for photographs. A Tribute can also be posted.

The deceased person’s Next of Kin will usually be responsible for setting up the Everlasting Post and for drafting the content. We will provide help and advice in this.

How it Works

The Announcement giving notice of death is made immediately following a person’s death. This Announcement is then archived at the end of the third month. At this stage, an Everlasting Post can be posted which will remain in Lasting Post in perpetuity.

Usually, the Obituary and Memorial Book that accompany the Announcement will be transferred and will form the basis of a person’s Everlasting Post.

It is important to note that there is no requirement that an Announcement must be made before posting an Everlasting Post. Making an Announcement and an Everlasting Post are two completely separate services.
